Osteon® can be fed in combination to provide bone and soft tissue support- ing ingredients. Healthy Weight can provide an additional source of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E while providing healthy calories to maintain an ideal condition. Additional Vitamin E can be provided for performance recovery and temporary muscle soreness.

With Platinum, Anything is Possible
In the heat of competition, we know that the smallest details can make the biggest difference. Building a nutrition plan around your performance horse’s specific needs can be the difference, especially when results come down to hundredths of a second or fractions of a point.
Nutrients to Aid the Performance Horse
Advanced Nutrition Can Help Build a More Durable Athlete
Muscle Strength & Mass
Specific nutrients can support the horse’s ability to maintain muscle tissue and glycogen stores to support lean muscle mass and tone.
Soft Tissue Support
Relying on the health of tendons and ligaments, providing soft tissue support can aid in athletic longevity and durability.
Stomach & Hindgut Health
A healthy digestive tract can support normal absorption of nutrients, proper pH levels and immune function.
Muscle Recovery
Key nutrients can help aid athletes in normal muscle recovery post-exercise, including soreness and fatigue from strenuous activity.
Body Condition
To perform at their best, athletes need to be fit. Maintaining a healthy body condition can support athletic ability and endurance.
Topline Support
Supplying balanced and adequate nutrition is necessary for the buildup and breakdown of protein, which is imperative to the function and performance of the topline.
Proper Blood Flow
Circulation is critical for supporting normal blood pressure and ensuring proper blood flow to deliver essential nutrients to hardworking muscles.
Joint Health
Targeted ingredients help support horses, who put tremendous stress on their joints from the chronic wear and tear of intense training and competition.
Properly Utilize Calories
Intense exercise increases metabolic rate and caloric needs. Advanced nutrition can help maintain an ideal body condition.

Building a More Durable Athlete
Conditioning
Part of good conditioning is ensuring athletes have the nutritional foundation they need to maintain energy, perform to their full potential and recover efficiently. High-quality forage is essential for the athletic horse, but even the best quality hay can lack in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E after it has been cut and baled, making supplementation essential to deliver the nutrients an athlete needs.
Bone & Soft Tissue Support
Supplementing with a natural, highly bioavailable form of silicon like the zeolite found in Osteon, can provide effective support for bone strength and bone development. The trace element is also important to the formation of articular cartilage and connective tissues. Additionally, silicon is also a key element in the structure of hyaluronic acid, which supports fluidity, cushion and lubrication of the joints. From bones to connective tissue to cushion, silicon plays a role in maintaining a healthy body structure.
Performance & Muscle Recovery
Special care and attention to the diet of an equine athlete can influence performance, muscle recovery and overall well-being during the rigors of training and competition. Key nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids, branched-chained amino acids, trace minerals, antioxidants — vitamin E, vitamin C and selenium — as well as zeolite, which is a natural form of silicon for tendon health, can support normal muscle recovery after exercise and maintain soft tissue health.
